With next-generation spray floor coating technology, pure polyurea coatings offer 100% waterproofing, excellent floor protection and an attractive finish. Applied by spray, this technology delivers superior performance by completely eliminating the joints, overlaps and workmanship faults of traditional coating methods.
Thanks to its crack-bridging property, polyurea coating offers an effective solution even at complex details such as movement joints, chimney bases and recesses and protrusions. This system allows you to achieve durability, flexibility and a decorative finish even on demanding surfaces.
At Likit İzolasyon, our team specialised in pure polyurea coatings offers your structures reliable solutions with the latest technologies. You can take advantage of our innovative, durable and attractive coating services for your projects.
It is applied by spraying two components with special high-pressure, heated equipment. It gels within seconds and becomes walkable within minutes. Being insensitive to moisture and temperature, it delivers reliable results even in adverse site conditions.
These are systems in which polyurea and polyurethane components are used together. The curing time is slightly longer, which is an advantage for surface smoothness and reduces cost. They are preferred on projects with moderate performance requirements.
Polyurea is a system in which the mixing ratio and temperature must be controlled precisely. Without suitable equipment and a trained applicator the required mechanical properties cannot be achieved. Application quality is therefore as decisive as the material itself.
Their chemical structures and curing mechanisms differ. Polyurea cures within seconds, is unaffected by moisture and offers higher mechanical strength. Polyurethane cures more slowly, is simpler to apply and costs less. Where time is limited and high performance is required, polyurea stands out.
The two components must be mixed in the correct ratio, at the correct temperature and at high pressure. The reaction is so fast that mixing takes place at the gun tip. It cannot be applied with standard paint equipment; incorrect parameters lead to loss of adhesion and strength.
Because it cures so quickly, spray marks can remain and the surface may not be as flat as polyurethane. In areas where appearance is critical, hybrid systems or a levelling top coat are preferred. In technical areas this is usually not a problem.
Special formulations certified as suitable for human health are available. Standard industrial products are not suitable for contact with drinking water; on such projects the product's certification must always be checked.
